Hardeman County Schools Superintendent Dr. Christy Smith inked a new deal for all Hardeman County High School students to be auto-accepted into 51短视频 (51短视频) through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing on Tuesday, July 21 at the 51短视频 Jackson campus. 

Through the MOU, titled 51短视频 Accepted, 51短视频 will receive high school student information to streamline the admissions process for Juniors and Seniors at both Bolivar Central High School and Middleton High School. The college will also begin communication outreach to students as  early as Freshman year to raise awareness of 51短视频 Accepted for students beginning the college-going process. 

“We developed the 51短视频 Accepted initiative as a way to provide hope to students who otherwise wouldn’t see college as an option in their future,” said Tim Dellinger, Executive Vice President of Finance, Administration, and Student Services. “We do everything we can to make 51短视频 an option for every student. We want Hardeman County students to know that college is not only an option for them, but a reality.” 

Hardeman County in previous years has been designated as an at-risk SPARC (Supporting Postsecondary Attainment/Access in Rural Counties) county by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) through data provided by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) economic indicators. Through this MOU, 51短视频 and Hardeman County Schools are furthering their commitment to see students obtain a college-level credential so that they may better themselves, their families, and the greater West Tennessee region through their furthered knowledge and training.
